A little help with Lighter.

Check Lighter’s Photos permission in Settings. With limited access, only the photos you allow can appear. Allow more photos if needed. Videos and hidden photos are not included.

Photos stored in iCloud may need a network connection and time to load. Some photos synced from a computer cannot be deleted from the device.

Use Undo while sorting. Tap Finish to review your selection, then tap a selected photo to keep it. A swipe only marks a photo. Nothing is deleted until you confirm in Lighter and Apple Photos.

Yes. Open Lighter and continue your saved cleanup. Photos removed from your library or no longer permitted may no longer appear.

Deleting the app and its data removes saved progress. The cleanup file is excluded from device backups.

Check Photos permission and any error shown. Deletion needs both Lighter’s confirmation and Apple’s system confirmation. Cancelling either stops that request.

Check your library in Photos before trying again. Photos synced from a computer may need to be removed through the computer’s sync settings.

Open Photos and check Recently Deleted. Apple normally keeps deleted photos there for 30 days. With iCloud Photos, deletions sync to your other devices too.

Lighter cannot restore permanently deleted photos. Follow Apple’s recovery instructions.

Deleted photos normally stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days, so space may not be freed immediately. Device storage also depends on iCloud Photos settings and when the system updates its storage totals.

Only remove photos from Recently Deleted if you are sure you no longer need them. Permanent deletion cannot be undone.
